Little Explorers Program

LITTLE EXPLORERS Summer NATURE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM 

Explore nature with your toddler or preschooler! Nature Preschool programs are open to children ages 2-6 with an adult. Classes include nature walks, stories, songs, and other activities. Nature ABCs and 1,2,3s and movement are part of the fun. Choose either 10:30-11:30 am or 12:30-1:30 pm.

 
Fees:

$6 per Member child/adult pair (Family level & up)
$20 per Non-member child/adult pair
$6 each extra sibling

Registration opens for Members on Monday, June 3 | 9:00 am.
Registration opens for Non-members on Monday, June 10 | 9:00 am

Fee includes admission to the Gardens and Nature Walk (April to October) and the Butterfly House (in season).

Lunch for a Bear
Let’s learn about Maryland’s black bear—what they eat and where they live. We will have some “bear snacks” to enjoy.
 

Tuesday, July 23
Water, Water Everywhere
There are so many ways we use water. In our state, we can’t go far without finding a stream, river, or bay.  It’s summer, so let’s have a day to have some fun time with water play. Please dress to get wet.

Party at the Pond

Splish! Splash! Let’s read about and explore some slippery critters in our Ladew ponds.
